Our Story
Far Fields is a special interest tour operator. We curate journeys around history, culture and hiking in India and overseas to showcase the cultural and natural heritage of the world.
Started in 2023 by a feature writer who followed up his early stint in journalism, with a decade and a half in travel trade, Far Fields has curated journeys around themes such as World War history on the Western Front in Europe, Morocco, the Himalayas, among others. We aim to tell immersive stories through lived experiences.
Brand Values

2
Easy-Paced Immersion
Our itineraries are purposefully paced to allow for lingering conversations and reflection, prioritizing depth of experience over a rush of sights. Travel camaraderie stemming from deep connections rather than touch-and-go of monuments is the intent.

4
The Creative Lens
We apply the rigour of research to travel planning. Going beyond guidebooks, we dig into archives to prioritize factual depth, context, and the hidden 'why' behind the 'where.'
1
Narrative-Led Curation
Rooted in deep research, every journey is structured like a compelling narrative – with a distinct beginning, immersive middle, and reflective conclusion – rather than a checklist of locations.

3
Local Connection
By fostering genuine interactions with local communities and artisans, we ensure you don’t just see a place, but meet the people who define it.

Testimonials
A collection of reflections from our travelers.

The trip to South Africa & the Western Cape fulfilled a lifelong dream. From beautiful Cape Town, with the backdrop of the Table Mountain, to the vineyards in Stellenbosch and the gorgeous seaside town of Hermanus, this was a memorable trip. Would definitely recommend a visit to the Western Cape of South Africa.

Traveling across the EU through 5 countries in a van was an experience of a lifetime. Primarily to look at sites of WW1 and WW2, the journey took us through different landscapes and very different narratives. Far Fields curated and created this amazing journey.

2024 and 2025 will always stand out for the paths walked, the silence embraced, and the calm confidence gained. These treks brought joy, clarity, and a quiet pride that words rarely capture. Looking forward to more.

Thank you, Rajesh and Far Fields, for an amazing, well-organized trek to Annapurna base camp. I can never ever forget the first dream trek with your team. I would not miss a chance, year after year….at least one trek a year with your company. Big cheers to Far Fields.

Our Guru Nanak Trail with Far Fields was truly a soul-stirring experience. Every destination — from the historic Gurdwaras to the vibrant streets of Amritsar— was thoughtfully planned and beautifully guided. We came back with a heart full of peace, cherished memories, cultural connect, and renewed faith.

South Africa truly has a magical way of imprinting itself on your heart, especially for a first international journey! There is something deeply unforgettable about the contrast of its dramatic landscapes—where towering mountains meet two crashing oceans—combined with the warmth of its people and, of course, the world-class culinary and wine scene.
Rajesh did a spectacular job balancing the sheer variety the country has to offer.

An amazing 10-day trip to fascinating Morocco! Brought alive for our group of eight intrepid travellers by Rajesh’s excellent curation!

I have gone on multiple treks with Far Fields. They have all been fantastically organised and always felt safe, even in the wilderness. Rajesh's background and rich experience provide an unparalleled opportunity for rich and diverse, uninterrupted conversations. Always look forward to these treks.

Awesome. Rajesh does a thorough one-to-one care. And the trips are small and boutique. Very homely and fun and intimate. Great for down-to-earth people. The trips are thematic, scenic n joyful. Enjoyable.
